Mr Williams,
Dear Friend,
I will now try and answer your kind and welcome letter I received a
Thursday evening. Was glad to hear from you. I was at Anna’s a few
weeks ago and stayed all week. I don’t think I will forget the time
we went to church and on to the depot with you. I enjoyed my self
ever so much. I came home that night and saw that little news boy
again. We haven’t had any cold weather this winter like we did last.
Haven’t had but one snow to amount to any thing. You ought to have
been here this fall and winter. Have been to 7 parties and have
invited to 16. I was at the Literary Wednesday night, had a good
time…
